Why copy contents of a Channel in Microsoft Teams?

There are multiple reasons why you may want to consider copying content from one Team to another apprised to duplicating Teams across. When you copy content across you are more specific with what content you want to transfer, the content you transfer allows you to effectively ensure that only content you move across will end up on the channel you want.

Another reason may be associated with privacy reasons, if you believe that content is on certain channels that shouldn’t be there, for instance, an asset folder on a team with external members then you can copy the content over to a more secure and private team than delete it from the source before the issue can become worse and there is a data breach causing damage to the company or reputation of that company.

Consider a business that associates a channel with a customer named “component.” On the sales team, they build a channel where they can discuss proposals, emails, and spreadsheets. They want the channel “component” to be under the customer care team once the deal is done, so they can deal with any difficulties “component” could have.
