Chat organizers will see this page where the options are there so they can participate, however, there is a view results tab that allows them to see what users have voted for what. Options for the Microsoft Teams poll
There are a few possibilities for generating a poll in Teams;
- After voting, the results are automatically shared.
- Answers should be kept private.
- Allow others to participate in the writing process.
- Add as many answers as you want.
- Make a poll with many choices.
- Make a yes-or-no poll.
You can have 6 options for a multiple-choice question in Teams, but only 5 options in Blackboard Collaborate. Microsoft will keep updating its polling feature, so this could change in the near future.
Recommendations
Because of their restricted characteristics, neither of these polls should be used for graded quizzes, but they are excellent for determining whether students have grasped a concept or require further explanation. Students can anonymously submit feedback to teachers through polls. It is recommended that you build a quiz through Blackboard if you want to conduct a quiz for grades.
